All Hatching Eggs

when collecting eggs for hatching in an incubator do all the eggs have to be layed on same day to hatch on sam?

Hi,

Eggs don't need to be laid on the same day to be incubated, they can be stored up to 10 days before you place them in the incubator.

Eggs must be stored pointed ends down with a air temperature of 14-16C.

When you set the eggs, once the temperature has reached 37.5C then incubation will start on all the fertile eggs.

Hope and Unhatched Bird's Eggs

Stop for a moment and imagine with me

a world cold and dark, one we're unable to see.

Once we had trees filled with birds and their song;

silent they became, no more music, all the day long.

Reach into that tree, and try to pluck down a tasty peach;

you find nothing there, that sweet tartness is now out of reach.

Walk across the field, and inhale deeply as you do;

but there is nothing you smell, the wind simply blew.

When the wind blows, we all know its gentle caress;

now ever so strangely, the sense of touch is gone with the rest.

I once had my soul mate, she was everything to me;

we were always together, be it air, land, or sea.

Something was introduced, so innocent at first;

some things are bad, but this was the worst.

It made her feel happy, no pain or fatigue;

the suppliers were there, yes, they formed their sinister league.

Little became more, then more was never enough;

to say things got bad . . . well, let's just say it was rough.

There was but one destination, all paths converged there;

I could not help her, so sad, it wasn't fair.

There is a cure, but only within herself,  is the power vested;

it requires monumental resolve, her inner-strength will be tested.

The stakes are the highest, to live or to die;

what will it be, should she decide to try.

This poem is not finished, for today's events shall become tomorrow's history;

once her decision is made and the battle is fought, there will be no more mystery.

If you think everything is lost, then consider what I saw is not submitted in jest;

the birds may be gone, but for you, their ready to hatch eggs were left in their nests.

About the Author

Mike fell in love with Maranda at first sight, and they had everything including fame, money and respect.  Maranda was injured and was prescribed pain pills, to which she became addicted.  The addiction took over her life, and now, she is in danger of losing her life.  They loved nature, but the pills took away the enjoyment of life, and only with a battle involving her most inner resolve can she become well again.  The poem is not finished and the finale depends upon the outcome of her battle.
