You know that by next week they will have all his marine "buddy's" saying how he was the anti-Christ
Sadly not only many, many Marines, but the different branches of militaries in America employ and deploy murderers, rapists, liars, cheats, racists, and one in particular just murdered a pregnant marine in December 2007 then fled to Mexico of all places.
The Marines, his superiors really dropped the ball on this one, but I don't hate Pastor Wright and I'm sure he's seen his share of outrageous racism and discrimination throughout his 60+ years of life here in this "not so united states" of America. I don't fault him at all for telling the truth about the racism by "BAD" whites, not the good ones, but the ones who pretend that we don't know they're being racist, or the ones who are more overt about how they express their hatred and mistreatment of primarily Black people, but many people of color.
The real reason for all the backlash about Pastor Wright's comments and how wonderfully Obama handled this matter, is the simple fact that bigoted whites don't want a Black man to become president; this Black man is half White, but "he's not pure in their eyes" so he "doesn't count".
Canadian, that's the biggest reason for all the backlash and hate, and I've seen these bigots hinting about that very reason on this forum. They think they are going to "lose" something should a Black and White man become president, and he, Obama supports ALL of us. The haters are just too racially blinded for all their hate that they cannot see a good thing that stands before them that will help everyone succeed.
They don't want change because it's a Black and White man offering it. He will right the war issue, he will make a positive move in our economy, he will remove the mentality of war, and racism for the most part, but he cannot makes things perfect. The damages that have been done by his ole boy predecessors for centuries of history have placed us into a corruption hole that will be hard to dig out of, but Obama's the best man we have going for America at this time.
