hamsters, please help. . .?
ok, i kind of asked this questions two days ago but i want to ask it again. i got a teddy bear hamster on Saturday and now i can get a little freaked out when i really think about it. i'm the one that Buttercup (my hamster) is depending on to survive. i'm the one who has to make sure everything is ok for Buttercup. i'm the one who ownes Buttercup! She is my first pet (besides fish) our dog really belongs to our family. so the main questions are:
any tips on not being so freaked out
and just to make sure is there anything else i need i already have, cage, bedding, food, food dish, water, water bottol, igloo, wheel, tube, trearts, gnawing toys, ball, and a mineral block that keeps her teeth clean.
last question: how can i always make sure Buttercup is happy, healthy and loved?

Just always tend to her needs and Buttercup will stay happy and will feel loved. Just take extra care in cleaning her cage, and just research different hamster diseases and see how they're cause so that you make sure you don't put your hamster in a condition that will start it. That will keep Buttercup healthy.
As for stopping to freak out, just remember that your hamster loves you anyway, and just don't think about taking care of her that way. Think of the two of you as very close friends, or even sisters. Then naturally, you will do anything to take care of her.
If you start to get a little paranoid, just watch her, and see how care free and happy she is roaming around her cage. She'll give you comfort.
And if you notice something's wrong with her, take her to the vet immediately. The vet will be able to help Buttercup through most diseases if taken on time.
So don't worry, you will be able to take care of Buttercup, and she'll take care of you too.

Dogs Go Green
As we get to understand more than ever the importance of keeping the ecological balance of our planet, we create new products that support this delicate balance and bring new hope for the future. By now we realize that the earth's resources are not infinite and it is our responsibility to think in a manner that helps efforts to recycle and use what we have wisely.
Thankfully, manufacturers of pet beds put a big emphasis on using recyclable materials or materials that cause no harm to the environment during their production.
