If I Made A C&C Cage For My Cavy Would She Jump Out?
I was thinking of making a c&c cage but I have a playpen like this http://www.beaverspetproducts.co.nz/P1010651.JPG that she jumps out of all the time and she is only a young adult like 4-9 months old. I don't want her jumping out of the cage so how do I make a top ( I also have cats and dogs so there has to be a top) and how much would it be?
Where would I get the supplies also?

Goodness that's a high jumper. Most cubes are about 12 inches high, which is much more then most can spring.
You can improvise on a lot of the supplies, but places likes Target and K-mart usually have them. To make a top, use a LOT of zip ties, and very securely ziptie the four corners down. They should hold themselves up. Then begin to make a border, and then the inner border, and so on until you juat have the last one to place down and tie. My guinea pigs have an entire second story without any sort of added reinforcement.
