I have set up 29 gallon with 3 green chromis, long tentacle anemone, sabae anemone, 3 mushrooms,?
polyp, 10 hermit crabs, 4 snails, 1 cleaner shrimp and 2 ocellaris clowns that still in breeding net not release yet. My light is
Coralife 30 Inch Aqualight with 65W 10,000K and 65W true actinic 03 blue and 2-3/4W Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED Lamps. My protein skimmer is CPR pak 2, Marineland 200 Penguin Bio-Wheel Power Filter and maxi jet 1200 for the powerhead. Any suggestion on my tank. Do you think I have enough light for the anemones to survive? How many fish can I add more?
I did cycle it for 2 months now.
It sounds like you're off to a good start. I wouldn't recommend adding anymore fish though, but you may get away with the addition of one small goby, like a Neon. The Long Tentacle Anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis) should do fine with your current lights, but I'm not sure how well the Sebae (Heteractis malu) will do, as they generally prefer higher lighting. If it starts to bleach, or show signs of stress, it may indicate that it needs more light. Just note that the Sebae is one of the more difficult anemones to keep, so many other factors will play a part in its overall health.
In the mean time, I would supplement feed both of your anemones a mouth-sized portion of fish, shrimp, mussels, or other meaty foods, soaked in a vitamin supplement like Selcon, once a week. Ocellaris Clowns are generally more picky when it comes to hosting anemones, so I would note that they may not pair up with the ones you have.
You will want to replace your bulbs every 6 months as well, to ensure that your light fixture is running at optimal intensity. I'm not sure if you have any live rock or not, but I would recommend 20-40 pounds, for biological filtration and pH stability. Just be sure it's fully cured before adding it to your tank.
Regards
