Limestone accident - solutions?
I just set up a new cold water tank, and mistakenly put in a piece of carved limestone. The water here is very acidic, and even with buffer salt, I came down this morning, turned on the lamp, and the water was cloudy. I immediately fished out the limestone (which had gone *soft*), but the layer of particulate-trapping mesh I put in the filter doesn't seem to be clearing the clouds out of the water.
At the moment there are no fish in the water, just snails, pea gravel, lava rock, slate and several rooted plants. I tested the water and I've got a pH of 7.5 (it was 5.5 yesterday), general harness of 10 degrees and carbonate harness of 20 degrees. Do I need to replace the water, or should it clear up on it's own?
As the tank had only had water in it for 15 hours when I spotted the cloudiness, it's not a bacterial bloom.
You should keep doing partial, 25%-30% water changes weekly to ensure that the cloudiness will go away, as it will. Just keep testing the pH weekly, as well as the nitrites, and since the limestone is out, the water will settle down quite quickly.

9 Soft Saddlebags For Motorcycles
Soft saddle bags are popular because they are pliable, easier to lug around and very spacious. There are a large number of soft saddlebags available in the market which makes selection difficult. Here's a shortlist of some of the good bags:
1. Chase Harper European Tour Saddlebags: These are made of Cordura, are water-tight and have 34 quart capacity. Their important features are: attachment around the rear and at the footpegs, a frame tube with quick-release action, hard plastic at the bottom and front, removable plastic exhaust guards, soft nylon backing to prevent scuffing and double nylon handles joined by wraparound leather
2. Dry Bag Saddlebags: These are made of pliable non-porous plastic, are Cordura lined and can roll up like a paper sack. They have hard plastic bag stiffeners, an attachment around the rear and at the footpegs , quick-release buckles on nylon straps and a hard plastic backing
3. Eclipse Dodge Slant Cruiser Bags: They have a nylon body, faux leather top flap and real leather straps and trims.
