What is a suitable water pump for a 78 gallon tank?
I have an Aqua one 78 gallon tank but i need a suitable submersible water pump (water circulator) Can some one please advise me on how much per litre per hour pump pump i would need to cause a nice undercurrent in my tank
If you have a freshwater tank I would recommend about 10x per hour water turnover. So about 780 gph. Include your filtration's flow rate in the calculation, so (filtration flow rate + water pump flow rate = 780 gph). Good Luck!

Submersible Sump Pumps Appropriate For Your Basement
Submersible sump pumps are useful in preventing flooding in your basement. Most basements are equipped with sump pits that act as collection points for fluids that seep in through cracks. They suck up this excess water and remove it to outside the house.
They were probably invented in New England, USA. They were first used for eliminating the troubles of flooding of basements. Modern day pumps are part of all new apartments that have a basement.
